The Role

As HENI and its group companies continue to grow, we are now hiring for an entry-level position to help our busy HR and Recruitment team. This is an exciting time to join an incredibly dynamic and fast paced, rapidly scaling business, and you’ll be getting hands on experience across a variety of responsibilities. No day will be the same!

You will play a key role in the overall day-to-day work of the department, and you’ll be learning a lot from our experienced team. We are seeking someone who is organised, proactive, and driven to get things done. The role would suit someone who can work flexibly and is willing to pick up new tasks.

This role would suit someone who is keen to learn and ambitious – we offer opportunities to progress in either HR or in recruitment, and we actively encourage our staff in their career development.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling interviews and meetings with candidates and hiring managers as appropriate
  • Assisting with creating job descriptions, filing them appropriately and posting job adverts on various job boards (such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and university job boards)
  • Help to review terms of business with new suppliers and recruitment agencies
  • Supporting the initial stages of the recruitment process such as screening CVs
  • Supporting the onboarding process for new joiners and setting up induction calls
  • Work closely together with the recruitment team, HR, and other internal stakeholders
  • Act appropriately as a representative of the business, maintain excellent candidate experience and branding
  • Contribute to other ad hoc projects as require

 

Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate profile:

  • Between 0-2 years’ experience – ideally some prior experience in supporting a busy recruitment or HR function; however, a similar support role in other areas, demonstrating organisational skills, would also be considered
  • Specific interest in recruitment or HR (such as working towards CIPD)
  • Previous experience with diary management advantageous
  • Willingness to be involved and provide support across varying areas of the business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially dealing with stakeholders
  • Proactive, diligent, emotionally intelligent, and down to earth
  • Ability to stay calm, cope with ambiguity, and juggle multiple tasks and roles
  • Proactive, organised, emotionally intelligent, and down to earth
